US Mag : Tell us a little bit about yourself. For example tell our readers about your background, family, and education etc.?

My name is Talon Chambers I am from a small town in TX. I currently in my senior year in High School and will be graduating in the spring. I have lived in my small Texas town all my life. Then when I was five my parents got a divorce, I then lived with my mom. At age 16 my mother passed away from a terrible asthma attack. I currently live with my grandmother on my moms side. Even though after everything that has happened, I feel that I am in a very bright time in my life. I hope to be a role model to others in similar situations.

US Mag : We been hearing a lot about your modeling, and your rodeo competitions , so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention and recognition for these accomplishments, how does it feel?

All of the attention in my life right now feels really great. I would like to make sure everyone one who has helped me so far with my progress knows how grateful I am and I couldn’t do it without the support and love. Although the attention is overwhelming, I plan to keep from going to my head and continue in a positive forward motion while keeping my Southern heart, humble and kind.

US Mag : How did you feel when you earned the many belt buckles and banners from the competitions? What does it take to be in these competitions? Do you practice etc?

Being as competitive and strong willed as I am I’ve never expected nothing of myself other than to be the best at what I am doing. Having all the rewards such as buckles and banners is always great to have to reflect an accomplishment, however to me the experience is the true blessing. I enjoy constantly learning  new things to better myself and my horse. Just like anything you compete in it takes a lot of time and practice to achieve the things. Without practice and hard work it will not happen whether you’re a rodeo rider or a model. You honestly have to love the sport as much as I do to be succeful, because it doesn’t come easy.

US Mag : At what point did you decided to become a model ?

Modeling has always been a dream of mine. I’ve never been a type of guy to not care about myself or not have confidence, which is what I believe you need to be a successful model. I have always told myself  “You can achieve any goal you want as long as you believe in yourself”. This has always been a dream of mine and I am very thankful for my Agency, CK Talent Management for giving me the chance.

US Mag : What motivates you to do your best work as a Model?

Well as I said before I have always been very competitive and push my self to always do my best so I bring that to the table during my photo shoots. I treat my modeling work as another competition. I will do what it takes to become the best at what I do and modeling is defiantly something I plan to conquer.

US Mag : Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I have defiantly chosen this industry as a career. I think with all the hard work it takes I can do it. However, I have a backup plan and that is to become a Vet.

US Mag : Why do you want to become a vet?

My whole life I have grown up around lots of animals. Since I have been around them all my life one can say I have a real passion for animals. I think being a vet will allow me to help them in ways that I have not been able to.

US Mag : What are your future plans ?  What is your vision for the coming years?

I never look too far in the future, because we aren’t promised tomorrow.  However I do have an outline of how I would like things to fall in my life. What I vision for the upcoming years is to become progress in the modeling industry and also be on my way to getting my DVM in animal medicine. While doing this I plan to continue to be a leader and positive person in this world.

US Mag : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time to relax and have fun?

I have lots of things I do for fun. One of my favorite things to do is to be with my fiends and just hang out getting my mind of work and school. Most of all I love to just get on my horse without a saddle and just ride the six mile circle of our black top oil road. It is very relaxing and I can clear my head of all things going on in my life.

US Mag : How can people find you and follow you online?

I have a Facebook public page which I am very active on. You can find me by searching for my name on there. I do try to post on my page daily. I love showing my southern life to my fans and others. Feel free to go to my public page and like my page so you can keep up with me.
