US Mag : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into Music Industry?
My name is Stephanie Dana. I am 35 years old. I have amazing parents, a sister and brother and three nieces that are a light in my life. I have my hands in a lot of things and love it that way. I work in advertising. I get to dabble in Graphic Art, Digital Advertising and Event Coordination. I am a dancer (since the age of 3) and a dance teacher (since the age of 16). I also love photography and own my own small photography business! I am a lover of the outdoors, watermelon, chocolate milk and my dog, Smokey!
My real passion is music. I am a singer/songwriter, and I dream that one day I’ll hear my music on the radio. I’ve written poetry and lyrics for as long as I can remember. I sang here and there growing up, but started truly pursuing it about 6 years ago when a friend pushed me to go to a recording studio. I fell in love. I am now writing as much as I can and performing everywhere I am invited to.
With my extremely long list of plans, dreams and goals… I just keep pushing everyday to do and share the things I love!
US Mag : Tell us about your new upcoming project(s)?
Currently, I am working on a few new projects. I have a Halloween in July show coming up, where I will mix Halloween songs with some of my originals. I am working on Christmas music to perform at a few concerts in December. And I am also working on re-writing a few songs from a genre I do not regularly sing, to my style of music. 🙂 And as always, writing song after song after song.
US Mag : So, everyone knows you make music and your a talented entertainer, but who motivated you, who’s some of your favorite people to listen to?
I get inspiration from everything around me. Most of my music comes from my own experiences or experiences of those close to me. So many musicians inspire me… Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, Lady A. I am a big lover of Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw… to name a few.
US Mag : What motivates you to do your best work as a recording artist?
The people that love and support me the most are my motivators. I want them and everyone who hears my music to feel something. I want to bring memories to the top of their minds. I want tears, laughter and bodies swaying back and forth. I want my music to mean something!
US Mag : If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
Nashville and NYC
US Mag : What’s your favourite style of music to make?
Country, hands down.
US Mag : Who are your musical inspirations?
Other than those mentioned above… Adele, Dolly Patron, Reba, Eminem, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley

Keep pushing! Be yourself and continue no matter the outcome!
